Mr. Deanda came to Horizon Specialty Hospital of Henderson for the second time after an extensive health journey. He had become very weak and lost much of his strength and endurance. At arrival he was dependent on staff for all mobility and self-care. As a result of his dedication and hard work with his therapy team he has made great improvements in strength, mobility, and endurance.

He is now able to stand with confidence and is making great strides to achieve his goal of safely returning home with his wife of 56 years to enjoy music and dancing with her again. Mr. Deanda is a great example of how consistent effort and determination towards a goal can allow you to overcome any obstacle in life. We are very proud of him and look forward to him being able to return home with his wife very soon.
