Mrs. Molto was admitted to Horizon Specialty Hospital of Henderson for continuation of care after an extended stay in the hospital due to complications with an infection following her hip replacement surgery. The effects of the surgical site infection had a global impact on Mrs. Molto, leaving her very weak, easily fatigued, and an increase in pain with movement. At arrival she required significant assistance for all mobility and was unable to get out of bed or stand. With hard work and consistent participation with her therapy team, Mrs. Molto has regained her strength and is now capable of safely transfers on her own. As she continues to recover paired with hard work with her therapy team Mrs. Molto will soon be ready to return home.
