Success Story – May – Ms. Ford
Ms. Ford came to Horizon Specialty Hospital at Henderson following surgical removal of all four limbs. Upon admission, she required extensive care to address wound healing. Ms. Ford was dependent on care staff for repositioning and transfers.

Success Story – Nov – Mr. Kuzma
Mr. Kuzma was admitted to Horizon Specialty Hospital of Henderson for continuation of care after being transferred from an Acute Care Hospital while recovering from a stroke. With active participation in Physical and Occupational Therapy Mr. Kuzma has regained function on the affected right side of his body. He is now able to initiate and actively participate with all functional transfers.
Success Story – Oct – Mr. Jamison
Mr. Jamison was admitted to Horizon Specialty Hospital of Henderson for continuation of care after being discharged from a long stay at an Acute Care Hospital. He is now back on his feet walking with a walker and is more motivated than ever to continue to progress and achieve his therapy goals for a safe return home.
Success Story – Sept – Mr. Galli
Mr. Galli was admitted to Horizon Specialty Hospital of Henderson to continue his recovery after being discharged from the Acute Care Hospital. With active participation and dedicated daily efforts with Physical and Occupational Therapy services he has regained his strength and balance. He is now able to ambulate further and requires less assistance from staff.
Success Story – June – Mr. Hinds
Mr. Hinds was admitted to Horizon Specialty Hospital of Henderson after health complications resulting in a dramatic decline in strength and functional abilities. At arrival he was bed bound and dependent for all daily care. Determined to get back on his feet he has been working hard with his Physical and Occupational therapists making great progress. He is now able to sit up with minimal assistance and sit independently on the edge of his bed during therapy sessions. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with Mr. Hinds and appreciate his positivity.
Success Story – May – Mr. Vancleve
Mr. Vancleve came to Horizon Specialty Hospital of Henderson after an extended hospital stay for difficulty breathing. He had become very weak and lost much of his balance and endurance after being bed bound. He is now able to stand and walk with minimal assistance while using a walker and is encouraged each day by his progress. After all his hard work he is looking forward to returning home to continue his recovery while being surrounded by his family.
